The green corner

The concept

Because it is time to change the way we see the world and the impact we have on it, Morpho Evasions, works daily to minimize our impact on the environment.

OUR VISION

Costa Rica is the world leader in ecotourism and we want to actively participate in order to continue in the same way.

Each trip created to measure or à la carte is designed according to the eco-responsible service providers. We favour local actors for sustainable tourism and day-to-day environmental best practices in our offices and throughout your travels.

BUT WHAT ARE OUR DAILY ACTIONS?

Energy saving at the heart of our concerns:

There is no point in asking you to be responsible if we do not set an example.

We have adopted many drastic measures to reduce our energy consumption.

No air conditioning at Morpho, the offices were designed "green" and use an ingenious system of cross ventilation located on each facade of our office. We save a huge amount of electricity.

The natural lighting achieved by means of white paint on the walls and ceilings as well as large windows allows us to turn on the lights only at the end of the day.

Recycling is of course part of our daily lives, we recycle absolutely everything that can be recycled in Costa Rica: paper, aluminum, glass, plastic, etc. Even organic matter from our food is recovered to feed our composter which is used to fertilize the gardens of our offices.

Paper !

We have the goal of no longer using paper in our offices! Zero paper is becoming a reality at Morpho Evasions. The only printed papers are those requested by government authorities. The rest of your trip is entirely digital.

Always ask permission before taking a picture with someone. The answer will certainly be positive and it will give you a good opportunity to meet people and share experiences and why not stay in touch after your return.

Do not hesitate to taste the local dishes, they are most often delicious and varied.

Consume local! Whether for your memories, activities or meals, the economic benefits will directly benefit Costa Ricans.
